Sean Reynolds, a North Melbourne local, is running a walking tour for the Hotham History Project members to celebrate the release of his book Melbourne Ghost Signs.

Sean, a self described cultural archeologist, became fascinated with the half faded and hidden signs and logos of Melbourne during his daily lockdown walks with his daughter. He created the instagram account @MelbourneGhostSigns and now with over 28,000 followers in Australia and overseas, he has published his first book.

Sean will take us on a one hour walking tour of his favourite North and West Melbourne ghost signs and share the fascinating history and stories behind each one.

We’ll end the tour at a local pub where Sean will answer questions. His book will be available for purchase and signings.
