Talk – Historic Maps of Melbourne by Sarah Ryan

Hotham History Project invites you to a public talk on Historic maps and plans of North and West Melbourne, Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at 7:30pm.

Sarah Ryan will be speaking about historic maps and plans of North and West Melbourne in the Victorian State Library’s Collection and how they can be used to connect with the heritage and stories of our local area. Read Sarah’s blog.

Sarah is a Senior Librarian specialising in Victorian and Australian Collections. Her team oversees building, developing, and curating the Victorian State Collection.

Location: Dewey common room, Bastow Institute, Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, 603 – 615 Queensberry St, North Melbourne 3051, enter via Union Street door.
